I’ve dug myself in deep this time
For instead of a usual review
I’ve decided to write in rhymes
Sit with me, I’ll walk you through
Left to right: White, Calling Your Buff, Taupe of the Morning, Simma Brown Now, Pretty in Mink, Dark Brown, Black Black
Wet n Wild has captured my heart
The brow & eyeliners have stolen it
Plethoras of browns, while hard to tell apart
For day to night, they are not unfit
Yes, they do all they claim, they’re quite smart
For your brows, they’ll never quit
On the waterlines, they’re a work of art
For hours they won’t move a whit
Left to right: White, Calling Your Buff, Taupe of the Morning, Simma Brown Now, Pretty in Mink, Dark Brown, Black Black
While these $1 gems have their ups, they’ve some downs
Reapplying to the waterline is a natural must
Some colours are too similar, like the browns
And use lightly on the brow, or scream with disgust
Soft and gentle as can be, there’ll be no pained sounds
But maybe a bit too soft, to be just
So you’ve sat through this all, what a feat
We’re at the end, it’s almost near
In all, cruelty free and cheap
These are quite a nice treat
If you have no fear of smears
And need a nude line to feign some sleep
Or brows to make you say, “that’s sweet”
To your local dollar store, the way is clear
Top: No liner on eyes, Simma Brown Now and Taupe of the morning in brows.
Bottom: Calling Your Buff on lower waterline, Black Black on upper waterline.

Lordy! I dunno what I was thinking. Guess my reviews of Wet n Wild stuff are already close to odes in reverence, might as well make the full leap. People who know one and a half things about poetry will be reading this in a rage, that’s for sure. I don’t know anything about poetry.
Calling Your Buff on lower waterline, Black Black on upper waterline. Simma Brown Now and Taupe of the Morning in brows. Jeez, check out my uneven eyebrows! My own fault, not the pencils.
If you don’t care to read the above, let me sum these up for you: long lasting, a little soft, don’t have a budge-proof dry down time and will smudge if you rub them, but will work great for brows and waterlines. It smudges right off my lids though, because I have hooded and oily lids. For the waterline, I never use the Q-Tip trick (where you run a q-tip over your waterline before applying eyeliner there), but I suspect if you did, this eyeliner would last all day there. Without it, I find it lasts for a few hours before I need to reapply… pretty good for a $1 liner!
Black Black all over eyes and lower waterline.
As for colours, Black Black is more of a charcoal, Pretty in Mink and Dark Brown are almost identical, with Dark Brown being a touch warmer, Simma Brown Now is a dark warm brown, Taupe of the Morning would work great for blonde brows, Calling Your Buff is a fantastic nude eyeliner, and White is just white.
I wonder if you realize how talented and creative you are? Because you areeeeee!!!!!!! You need to share some of your art!!

I’m tempted to! Unfortunately, I hate almost all of my current art so I’ll have to draw something decent first, lol.

We never see our own stuff the way others do. We are our harshest judges. Put it out there, I bet you people will be shocked and love it.

I really like the way how you described the colours in writings rather than just swatches and also, I like the all black eye look on the last picture. Great Post.https://lifestylebites3.wordpress.com

I loved your makeup poetry! Eh, who cares what the poet snobs thinks, it’s called creative writing 😀 I love your last photo with the black liner. It’s very vintage 20’s I love it! P.S. You nknow how to rock some brow power yourself my dear, xo.

Dude! You are the bomb! Seriously I think you have the most creative blog out of all the blogs I follow.
Also, your eyeliner game is strong! That last picture is fantastic!
I feel your pain on the hooded eye + eyeliner front. The transfer problems are real!
Awesome post as always 🙂

My own self hatred. ;P Actually, just trying to think of what to title this one! “Ode’s appropriate, this is some pretty bard-ish love. … bet i could make this into an actual ode.” Thanks!
