I really liked how I did my makeup yesterday. I applied it at 8 am, and it stayed put until 6 pm without barely any fading after using NYX’s Matte Setting Spray. Points for it!

Because my eye lids are so hooded, unless I want my eyelid to be completely black, I try to avoid lining it. I just lined the edge here, gently steeping into the lash line about a third of a way down my eye.

My hair is actually nice and curly today. The wonders of sleeping on it and never brushing it dry. Ever.

Thank you so much!! ❤ My hair is naturally a really blah greyish brownish shade of dirty blonde, so dyeing it ariel red fairly frequently is practically necessary. =P You should have a picture with your hair! I only brush mine when I'm in the shower with conditioner in it. If I don't ever brush it, rat nest city so tangled I've had to cut and rip the knots out. =/

  5. Holy smokes you look gorgeous! You might have to rename your blog to Midwest Glam cause you definitely got the glam factor covered! lol 🙂

    You really made that Better Than Sex mascara work for you. I’ve tried a few times and never got my lashes to look half as nice as yours. I’ll give it a few more tries before giving up on it.

    1. Oh my goodness, this is one of the sweetest messages!! Thank you so much, I don’t know what to say, you’re so nice!!
      I actually consider it my HG mascara, it’s wonderful when you figure out how to use it. I posted before how I prep and apply mascara, maybe try following that and seeing how it works for you? Your lashes do look beautiful though, I suspect you don’t need mascara half as badly as I do, lol.

        Oh believe me I need mascara! I feel I barely have any lashes at all. But I will definitely try your method and see if that helps. I’ve tried SO many mascaras and there are a handful that actually make my lashes pop. As of lately I’ve been using my sample of Lancome Hypnose Star. A lot of people don’t seem to like it, but the wand is thin enough for me to reach the base and really get in there. 2 coats later and I have lashes!
